Manual Transmission (MT)

What is it?

In a manual transmission, the driver changes the gears manually using a clutch pedal.

How it works:

• Left foot = Clutch

• Right foot = Brake & Accelerator

• The driver selects gears like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & Reverse.

Advantages:

✔ Full control over the car
✔ Better mileage
✔ Cheaper maintenance

Disadvantages:

✘ Difficult in heavy traffic
✘ Requires frequent clutch use
